first year of production, 1855, with blued octagonal 3 1/2in. barrel, the signature to the top-flat with hand motif, plain cylinder with roll engraved scene (faint), solid blued frame, smooth flared walnut grip and hinged under-barrel loading lever, a good amount of original blued finish remaining
